FAQs
How does it work? Do you give me CVs?
You tell me about your project, what you need and when you need it. I’ll ask you lots of questions about scope of the project, what you want out of the freelance support. Then I’ll review the producers on my roster and find the best match for your project, company and culture. My aim is always to match people who work in a similar way, where if possible the freelancer has sector knowledge and whose professional relationship can flourish.
Who do I pay?
You pay Pebble and we sort the rest. We take a small fee for arranging the freelance resource. However, our relationship with you continues after we’ve placed a freelancer with your business: we’ll check in on progress, offer advice and support, and source extra resource if appropriate.
What if the freelancer can’t work?
We work with a bank of trusted and vetted freelancers who are used to short notice work opportunities and to quickly assimilating information about a sector and project. We can call on freelancers to support each other and make sure that a project is never left under-resourced.
What support do you give during the project?
After the initial introduction and negotiation of terms and hours, Claire is on hand to support client and freelancer alike and to make sure the relationship is working well.
My event is in a niche subject – can you help?
Conference producers stand as objective observers of sectors and industries. Part of their role is to cut through the noise and get to the nub of a topic – through research and working with a client they can quickly build up relevant knowledge to enable them to craft programme copy and approach key industry figures to speak. Many producers will have experience in a given sector but all have the ability to quickly get up to speed on a niche subject.
